William Hurt has been set to star opposite Helen Hunt in Live Like Line, the inspirational sports movie about a girls volleyball team trying to win against all odds. The film rejoins the actor with director Sean McNamara as they just completed The King’s Daughter (aka The Moon & The Sun) together. McNamara is directing Line with a script by David Aaron Cohen (Friday Night Lights) and revisions by Elissa Matsueda (Spare Parts).

Campbell started his career as a studio executive at Newline Cinema from 2004 to 2008.  In 2009 he joined Lotus Entertainment as a Production and Development Executive, where he was involved with a slate of films including THE GREY, KILLING THEM SOFTLY, and THE KIDS ARE ALRIGHT.

He and Aspire CEO Mark Ciardi are Producer and Executive Producer respectively on FALLEN, directed by Scott Hicks, and based on the International best selling book series.

Campbell has advanced bachelor degrees in English Literature and Anthropology from Occidental College, Los Angeles, California.

Newsweek Partners with Production Company to Put Content on the Big Screen

Newsweek is partnering with production company Aspire Entertainment to turn articles into films and television series. According to an initial report by Variety, Newsweek editor-in-chief Jim Impoco is heading up the partnership for IBT and working with Apex CEO Mark Ciardi and chief content officer Teri Katherine Flynn.
